You could be right but I have a hunch that Meath will pull away.

Dont think there will be much in it either way, a draw looks on the cards.

In 24 hours it will be half time. Ahh I'm like a kid on Christmas eve. Bring it on. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 16/06/2017 19:41:10 2000474 Link 0 |
Looking forward to this match myself Royaldunne. After the Dubs, Meath and Kildare are the next big guns in Leinster. Hopefully it will be a cracker. The weather is meant to be a scorcher tomorrow.

I'll get a tan ollie, better one than on the bog footing turf. :). It should be a cracking game, and after all the banter or whatever on this thread over past couple of weeks, I wish both teams and their supporters well, both play to their potential and show the rest of country just how good Leinster football can be. Btw Ollie ill be keeping a ear into louths game too hoping the wee progress. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 17/06/2017 07:57:16 2000538 Link 1 |
Rumours kildare may be forced into a change or two... 11jm11 (Kildare) - Posts: 364 - 17/06/2017 08:20:21 2000541 Link 0 |
Scorching weather, a packed stadium and 2 really evenly matched traditional teams that don't like each other. For all the moaning about championships structures it doesn't get much better than this LeitrimRoyal99 (Meath) - Posts: 1434 - 17/06/2017 10:09:34 2000553 Link 1 |

Really a 50/50 game today. if_in_doubt (Kildare) - Posts: 3685 - 17/06/2017 12:16:07 2000582 Link 1 |
Good stuff Royaldunne. I will ask Colm Corrigan to give you a mention. What a day today. If Meath lose and Louth win Royaldunne wee have a 1 in 4 chance of playing each other again in the qualifier's. Should that happen you will not have to worry about Parnell Park. The match will be in Navan.

I'd expect this one to go down to the wire. Kildare might have a small bit extra but it wouldn't surprise me if it went the other way. Goalie could be the difference and whichever makes less mistakes could hold the key. catch22 (USA) - Posts: 2148 - 17/06/2017 12:31:49 2000588 Link 0 |
Have to agree i think this game will do both teams a world of good championship is what its all about two good managers some good footballers on both teams meath have more work to do going on louth game if we give away goal chances like that kildare will beat us out the game but hope andy has learned from louth game benches will be huge we have no one to bring on if wer are losing midfield battle but we do have some attacking players whats kildares bench like .may best team win i will be supporting kildare v dubs hope the same applies if meath win .meath by 2 points for me

I honestly hope Meath win, but, I wouldn't trust Paddy O'Rourke as far as I could throw him, so I wouldn't be atall surprised to see a keeper error decide this Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 17/06/2017 12:53:10 2000590 Link 0 |
Feely out for Kildare. This has to tip the scales to Meath now. Matthew (None) - Posts: 1000 - 17/06/2017 12:55:39 2000591 Link 1 |

Not Feely but still a big setback even if Paddy replaces him.
