Replying To tippdown:  "Antrim will be without Neil McManus for Saturday's Christy Ring Cup quarter-final against Down as their talismanic attacker is getting married.
Great news for us."
Paul shiels is also injured..... Down must be favourites now

Bookies have Down at 7-1 underdogs.

I think Antrim will be fine.

I can't ever remember a hurling/football doubleheader in the Hyde. Could never understand that.

We've our own problems to contend with as lads are struggling with injuries as well and some can't get the time off work, utter shambles TBH..

Up the Garden!!! What a great group of players we have! Terrific win. Christy Ring Semi Final under the radar. Everyone underestimates us and we don't care.

Great win indeed. I always wonder why we are hardly ever mentioned when there is a discussion on second tier leinster counties.

Congratulations Wicklow hurling, just brilliant to get the better of a very strong Kildare team ,this was nothing short of a fantastic victory for hurling in Wicklow, county board take notice, your Hurlers are far better than your football team & deserve to be prioritised now

Replying To supersub15:  "In a lot of peoples view Antrim are favourites to reach the Christy Ring Cup final and that's fine, the second favourite to pair with Antrim is one of three, Carlow, Kildare and Down, from what I hear Carlow is going into Saturdays game with their fair share of problems/Injuries that's why I'm not giving them the second favourites tag outright.
0-01 Separated Wicklow and London, Kildare and Mayo but Down had a very convincing win over Roscommon, out of that I feel Down are dark horses with Kildare a shade darker.

There may very well be one or two upset's on Saturday c/w with one or two disappointments.
Hurling team of the week should be interesting, - - - for those of course that take it serious that is."
The shock of the day was London hammering Roscommon in Hyde Park Roscommon
The result of the day was Wicklow accounting for Kildare in St. Conleths Park Newbridge.

Wicklow have now beaten both London and Kildare and also accounted for Down in the league. Surely we now be considered possible finalists?

With the correct funding, maybe Wicklow could bring in a few outsiders too Sponger? It might then be time to start bursting the footballs around Arkla.

Yes Liam any of ww, ke, cw, and London can reach the final with Antrim in the other final spot

I agree fully with that but the neck of someone from Wicklow to come on and make that point is breathtaking.
