Fingallians GAA club notes

September 26, 2017

Brendan Martin Cup: Congratulations to our Dublin ladies on winning the All Ireland in style, on Sunday afternoon in front of 46,286. We look forward to our quartet of Fiona, Emer, Denise & Sinead bringing the cup to the club in the near future. The feat came on the back of 3 final defeats.

Senior B Championship: We take on Raheny in St Anne's park on Saturday @ 5pm (30th Sept).

U15's: After securing the league title last week at football - the hurlers beat Cuala in the division 1 hurling shield.

Irish Conversation Group: Our Grúpa Comhrá starts back after the Summer break in the clubhouse every Wednesday at 9pm. This is a great free service that helps people learn and use the Irish they have in a relaxed, non-classroom environment. Fáilte roimh chách.

HURLING  RE-UNION: In October 1997 Fingallians fielded an adult hurling team for the first time. To mark this 20th anniversary milestone there is  a reunion night on Saturday 14th October. All players who played at any stage for the Junior or Intermediate hurling teams are invited back on the night to meet and socialise and share memories with old teammates. The same invitation is extended to any team managers, mentors or Fingallians hurling supporters. Colm Crowley [email protected] would like to hear from people who can attend on the night.

GYM Update: Our new Sluagh Hall gym now has a timetable for Yoga, Pilates, Tabata & Bootcamp. Please see our Facebook page for the current itinerary.

Dance Classes: Every Monday from 8pm - 11pm in the main hall. Cost €10. (Beginners social dance - foxtrot, waltz, line dancing & more)

Lotto: 7, 8, 11, 19 & 26. We have 6 winners each receiving €305. The jackpot this week is €2,058.
