The streaker who ran onto the Croke Park pitch during the Leinster SFC final says he did so for a good cause.

Terry Graham from Finglas brought play to a halt and amused the crowd when he invaded the pitch from the Hill 16 end midway through the second half of the Dublin v Westmeath clash before handing himself over to security personnel who covered his modesty with a high visiblity vest as they escorted him off the field.

Terry revealed to Dublin Live that he did the streak to raise money for five-year-old 'Batman' Ben Farrell who is battling cancer. The young Dublin fan has already undergone 19 rounds of chemotheraphy and radiation, and his family are trying to collect enough money to send him to the USA for pioneering treatment that could save his life.

"I heard about Ben's story on Facebook and it hit me right in the heart," he said.

"I'm a sensitive man and I wanted to help," added Terry, who has so far raised €200 in donations after his daring act.
