Dublin put the disappointment of their extra-time defeat to Wexford last time out behind them to get the better of Laois in today's quarter-final at O'Moore Park.

The team in sky blue held the upper hand throughout the 60 minutes and finished with nine points to spare over the O'Moore County, 1-18 to 0-12.

Johnny McGuirk's side enjoyed a five point lead at the halfway stage and David Keogh's second-half goal put the result beyond any doubt.

The young Dubs join Kilkenny and Wexford in the last four and the last semi-final ticket will be up for grabs tomorrow when Westmeath play host to Offaly in Cusack Park.
