Conor Grugan's late goal sealed Tyrone's 2-18 to 2-13 victory over local rivals Monaghan in Castleblayney. The Red Hands led by 1-12 to 1-6 at half-time, but could never relax after Mark Treanor got a goal back for the hosts early in the second half.
At the DCU Sportsgrounds, Fingal romped to a 4-18 to 1-6 success at Warwickshire's expense.
