Curran tips Dubs to keep winning

September 26, 2015

Paul Curran.

Paul Curran expects Dublin to win at least one more All-Ireland SFC title before the end of the decade.

Curran, who led Ballymun Kickhams to a Leinster SFC club championship success two years ago, feels that the Metropolitans have the right ingredients to retain Sam Maguire next year and says that Kerry will again be their closest contenders in 2016.

"What I think they (Dublin) might do depends on themselves, what they want out of this thing," Curran told the Irish Daily Star.

"I think if they come back next year the way they've been coming back the last couple of years there's a couple more All-Irelands in them before the decade is out, certainly one more.

"Kerry didn't show in the final. Not one of their players really stood out, which is unusual for them, but I think history has shown the team that bounces back the quickest and the best from a defeat has always been Kerry.

"I think they are our biggest danger again next year with due respect to everybody else."

Curran's Clan na nGael side will look to cause a huge upet in the Roscommon SFC tomorrow at Kiltoom, where they take on six-in-a-row chasing St Brigid's.
