Was Brogan 'point' wide?

One of the most contentious decisions in yesterday's incident-filled drawn All-Ireland SFC semi-final almost went unnoticed.

TV replays suggested that a first half point awarded to Bernard Brogan may have been a foot or so wide of Rob Hennelly's right-hand post. Surprisingly, referee Joe McQuillan decided against calling for Hawk-Eye, which may have had something to do with the fact that there wasn't much protestation from the Mayo players.

It was also surprising that the decision wasn't revisited by The Sunday Game panel last night.
