Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:

 

Club Fixtures:

Our juvenile leagues get underway this coming weekend for U13 to Minor teams. All clubs have been issued important information via email regarding competition rules and regulations for the 2015 playing season please check with your club Secretary / delegate for details of same.

TESCO Homegrown NFL:

Dublin suffered their first defeat of the NFL to Mayo on Sunday losing by 0-13 to 0-08. This coming weekend the Dubs will travel to Kerry for their 4th round tie throw in time in Legion GAA club Killarney is 12.30. All in Dublin LGFA would like to wish Nicole Owens a speedy recovery from the injury she picked up on Sunday versus Mayo.

 

Leinster Championship:

Busy weekend for the Dubs with 3 teams in Leinster championship action this weekend first up on Saturday the U14 and U16 teams take on Meath at 1.30pm and 3pm in Pairc Ui Murchu, Ballyboden St Endas GAA club. On Sunday our Minor team play Kildare at 2pm in Parnells GAA club Coolock. Best wishes to all Dublin players and their respective management teams.

Level 2 Referees Course:

A Level 2 referee's course will take place in Parnell Park at 7:45pm (note the slightly later start time) on Wednesday Feb 25th for those Dublin officials who could not make the courses on the 21st and 24th of January. It is imperative that all adult officials who wish to referee in Dublin this season complete a Level 2 course. Any adult Dublin GAA referee who would like to officiate in ladies football this season can book a place on the level 2 course by contacting the office [email protected] or ring Patricia 0860285539
