Dublin defender Ger Brennan has become the latest GAA star to join twitter.

The All-Ireland winning centre back posted his first tweet this evening and his St. Vincent's and Dublin team-mate Diarmuid Connolly was quick to encourage twitter users to "get following".

Ger's twitter account, which we have no reason to believe isn't the real deal, is @gerdbear1985.
