UCD experienced little difficulty in disposing of the challenge of St Pat's in Group A of the Fitzgibbon Cup at Belfield today.

The Nicky English managed hosts dominated the first-half exchanges and were rewarded with a 0-16 to 1-3 interval lead.

And there was no let up in the second-half as they outscored the visitors by 1-7 to 0-3.
