Antrim 2-12

Dublin put on an impressive scoring display to easily account for Antrim at Parnell Park and qualify for a Walsh Cup semi-final against Laois next weekend.

Ger Cunninghm's first competitive game in charge of the Dubs yielded a 17-point victory over DIT in midway and it was another stroll in the park against the Saffrons who finished with 13 players after Eoghan Campbell received a straight red card for a wild pull in the 42nd minute and Neil McManus was also dismissed in injury-time after picking up his second yellow.

David Treacy top-scored with 0-11, 0-7 of which came from frees, in a game which the hosts dominated, except for a period midway through the second half when Antrim got within four points of them.

The Dubs led by 0-16 to 1-5 at the break, with Antrim's goal coming late in the first half from Eddie McCloskey.

The Ulstermen were given hope when sub Ciaran Clarke scored a quick-fire 1-1 to cut the gap to four points with 20 minutes remaining. McCloskey also found the net, but Dublin finished the stronger as sub Cian Boland chipped in with two late points.

Danny Sutcliffe and Mark Schutte both hit 0-5 from play for the winners.
