Dublin county board chairman Andy Kettle, 68, has passed away.
He had been ill in recent months and is survived by his wife Phyllis, and children Patrick, Peter, Eoin, Niamh, Orla and Ciara
Andy Kettle succeeded Gerry Harrington as county board chairman in December 2010 and served four years in the position.
Prior to taking over the role, the Fingal Ravens clubman served on the Dublin Competitions Control and Management Committees and was also chairman of his club.
He presided over a hugely successful period for Dublin GAA, with the senior footballers claiming two All-Ireland titles and the hurlers a league and Leinster honours.
Very sad to hear of Andy Kettle passing away. . A gentleman and a great GAA man. May he rest in peace...
