75m kick sees Sheridan retain title

Longford keeper Damien Sheridan
Longford's Damien Sheridan retained the 'Kick Fada' title at Bray Emmets today with a winning distance of 75m.
In the 15th running of the annual competition, the reigning champion held off stiff competition from the likes of Armagh's Paul Hearty who was gracious in defeat.

Dublin's Serena Hannon, meanwhile, claimed the ladies title for the third time in-a-row.
