Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes

September 01, 2014

Our senior team have qualified for the 2014 All Ireland final following a heroic display against Galway in last Saturday's semi-final. The Dubs held on to win by 2-14 to 1-13 to set up an appearance against either Cork or Armagh in Croke Park on September 28th.
Well done to Lyndsey Davey (Skerries Harps) who was named as the TG4 Player of the Match.
Information on how clubs, members and supporters can purchase their All Ireland tickets will be issued to all club Secretaries in the coming days. We are urging ALL Dublin supporters to make the journey to Croke Park to cheer on our girls in blue.
Commiserations to our gallant U16 team who came unstuck against a strong Cork outfit in the All Ireland final on Saturday. Despite battling hard the Dubs lost out in the end by 4-07 to 2-07.

Well done and a big thank you to all the girls and their management team for all their hard work, commitment and dedication to the blue jersey over the last 8 months.
