Minor All Ireland Semi-Final
Dublin v Galway
Saturday July 19th, 2pm (ET)
St Brendans Park, Birr

Dublin manager Conor Barry has named his starting 15 to face Galway in Minor All Ireland semi-final.

Despite having a ten week layoff from competitive action coupled with a number of long term injuries Dublin have been able to name a strong line out for Saturdays' clash against reigning champions Galway.

Dublin's starting 15 includes a number of Dublin Inter County "veterans" Aoife Curran, Muireann Ní Scanaill, Katie Murray and Leah Mullins combined with a number of players who started in the U16 All Ireland final last year versus Cork namely Lauren Magee, Hannah Hegarty, Aoife Kane, Holly Greer and Emma Colgan.

Coming into the semi-final there has been a lot of talk and reference to last years All Ireland replay in which Galway snatched the title from Dublin's grasp with two dramatic late injury time goals.

While the loss of that final will undoubtedly still hurt many Conor Barry has effectively had to rebuild his squad for the 2014 campaign with the majority of the current panel unaffected by the 2013 result.

While the reserve can be said of Galway manager Daniel Moynihan who has the bonus of being able to call upon the services of no less than 10 of last years All Ireland winning team for Saturdays clash with the Dubs. Three of whom, Louise Ward, Nicola Ward and Olivia Divilly also featured on the Galway senior team that retained their Connacht title at the expense of Mayo just two weeks ago.

Both minor semi-finals are down for decision this weekend in St Brendans Park Birr with Munster champions Cork taking on Ulster champions Cavan in the second game in the Offaly venue at 4pm.
