The Leinster U21HC final between Dublin and Wexford will go ahead as planned on Wednesday evening at Parnell Park.

The news is a setback to Wexford's hopes of beating Clare in Saturday's All-Ireland SH qualifier replay at Wexford Park as they have a number of players involved with both squads. The Model County had sought that the U21 final be postponed so they could concentrate solely on the senior replay, but their request has fallen on deaf ears. Tweet
