17 May 2011 - Mixed fortunes for the reserves and seniors

Back to the Club Page

Mixed fortunes for the reserves and seniors on Saturday evening last in Milford, the reserves lost while the seniors kept up their recent winning sequence by winning on a scoreline of 1 - 9 to 10 points.

Both teams play the first leg of the preliminary round of the intermediate and intermediate reserve championships this Sunday (22nd) at home to Naomh Bríd. Provisional throw in times are 1.30 and 3 o'clock. A good turnout of supporters would be much appreciated by both players and management for these games, let's try and out-number Naomh Bríd support this time.

Congratulations to Master Charles Keeney and the Frosses School Girl's team who once again won the Cumann na mBunscoil Co. Final last Saturday.

Congratulations to Conor Gavigan and Peadar Mogan who played in the Cumann na mBunscoil mini game in McCumhaill Park on Sunday last at half time in the Ulster Championship game. Hopefully they will play there many more times during their GAA career.

Well done to the senior girls who had a comprehensive win over Kilcar on Friday evening last, they play Ballintra / Pettigo (Mary Bridgets) this Sunday in the championship at home, throw in 12 noon.

There was no winner of last weekend's Slotto jackpot, winner of 80 Euro for nearest to correct sequence was Liam Hyland, Donegal Town. Sequence drawn was 2-6-3-5-1-4 & 7. This weekend's jackpot will be 440 Euro.
