In this, our clubs 70th year we are proud to announce that our Gala Evening will take place on the 12th November 2016 at the Tullyglass House Hotel, Ballymena.  It promises to be a great nights entertainment.  Tickets are available from any of the following gala committee members.  Gerard: 07714980122, Paddy Joe: 07855949616, Sean: 07970936458, Dermot: 07970676719 or Liam: 07968167472.A table of 10 is £600.To assist with this auspicious event we invite anyone from the local community either past or present members to share any pictures or videos of memorable occasions or games of the past for inclusion within a presentational video that will be shown throughout the evenings event.  All photos or videos will be copied and returned to their owners without delay.  This is a key part of the evenings events so all contributions are very welcome and greatly appreciated.  Please contact any of the contact numbers provided above or send your photos to mailto:[email protected].

The u-13 hurlers have a busy week ahead,they are scheduled to play Dungannon at home this Wednesday night at 7.30pm and on this Sunday they are scheduled to have two games in Owenbeg,against Ballinascreen at 10am and Lavey at 10.40am,please check local press for confirmation of the fixtures.

The u-21 footballers had a great win in their first Championship match last Friday night against Dungiven in Dungiven 1-15 to 1-8 in a very good all round team performance.

Best wishes to the Players and Management of the Minor Hurling Panel as they play Kevin Lynchs this Saturday (22nd October ) in Owenbeg in the final of the Minor Hurling Championship at 4pm,the team need all the support possible, please check local press for confirmation of the fixture.

Club lotto numbers last Saturday (15th October) were; 14,17,21 and 25. There was no Jackpot winner,the two lucky dip winners were Maura McKenna and. Brian Boyle.Next week the Jackpot is £1,600.

Under 8 hurling will continue on Wednesdays between 6.30-7.30pm. Any parents wishing to stay and help out would be appreciated.

The club would like to thank everyone who helped out in any way to ensure that SWA-Vival of the Fittest last Saturday 15th October was the success it was.Also,a big thank you to all the participants,there were a lot of sore limbs on Sunday!!!!

The club would like to thank all club members who  once again supported  the weekly Big Bingo.Please note that the new start time of the weekly bingo is 8.30pm.Please also note this has been changed to a ten game session,Games 1 - 9 will have lines at £50 and houses at £100,Game 10 will have £50 for the line and £300 for the house which must go.The Jackpot of £2,000  will also be played for in the last house on 45 numbers.A 10 page book will cost £10. The Bingo is a very important part of the clubs weekly activities.
