Loup are through to the Derry SFC final after accounting for 14-man Ballinascreen by 4-9 to 0-10 in Owenbeg this evening.

A Thomas Mallon goal directly from a '45' helped Loup to a 1-4 to 0-6 lead at the break.

Ballinascreen, who had Barry Grant sent off on a straight red card late in the first half, fell seven points in arrears when Jason Rocks netted at the start of the final quarter. Ciaran Devlin and Paul McVey added further majors late on to seal the victory.

Holders Slaughtneil will take on Ballinderry in the second semi-final at Owenbeg tomorrow afternoon.
