The McIver family will have an involvement in big SFC clashes in two different counties on Sunday afternoon.

While Michael is lining out for Ballinderry against champions Slaughtneil in the Derry SFC semi-final at Owenbeg, his brother Paul will be attempting to steer Kilcoo to their fifth consecutive Down SFC title at Clonduff's expense in Newry.

For the brothers' father and former Derry and Donegal manager Brian McIver, the fixtures clash poses an obvious dilemma.

"He may sit in the house and try and get two TVs set up and find two live streams," Michael jokingly said in the Irish News.

"There'll be no way he'll get to both, but I'm sure he'll keep an eye on both and hopefully it'll be two wins and all happy households."
