Derry SFC: Ballinderry set up date with champions

Ballinderry will face Slaughtneil for a place in this year's Derry SFC final after they accounted for Banagher by 1-14 to 1-7 in the last of the quarter-finals at Owenbeg last night.

Ryan Bell and Gilligan led the scoring charge as the Shamrocks built up a commanding 1-8 to 0-3 lead at the break. Despite accurate free-taking from Mark Lynch, Ballinderry remained in control with Gilligan former county man finishing with a personally tally of 0-8.

Loup and Ballinascreen will square off in the other semi-final.
