Watty Grahams club notes

November 23, 2015

Weekly Notes - Monday 23rd November 2015
Lotto Numbers: 25, 36 & 40. There was no winner of £500. This week's lotto jackpot is £500. Please support the lotto as it is the pivotal fundraiser for your club! Remember that tickets can be bought online from the link on the Glen website.
AGM: The Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 29th November at 6pm. All members are urged to attend.
Senior Camogie: Our Camogs have to replay the Ulster Semi-Final next Sunday 29th in Madden at 2pm. It would mean a lot to the team and management if everyone could get out and support them after all the nonsense the team has been put though over the last month and especially since they've beaten Madden already! We need everyone to get behind the team and would really appreciate this their support! There will be buses going to the match for anyone that's interested. Please spread the word!
Under 21 Championship: Our Under 21 footballers took on Bellaghy in the latest round of the Under 21 championship on Saturday. Despite missing a few notable starters, Glen started brightly with points from Paul Gunning and Conor Convery. Bellaghy grabbed the first goal of the game and had other chances for points but didn't convert. Danny Tallon then punched to the net after great work by Ciaran McFaul and Paul Gunning. Glen were now playing with much more flair and added further points to leave four points between the teams at the break. After the interval, Glen continued to dominate all over the pitch and restricted Bellaghy to just one goal and one point in thirty minutes. Conor Convery and Tiarnan Flanagan added further goals to leave the final score Glen 3-14 Bellaghy 2-03. Glen scorers Conor Convery 1-04, Danny Tallon 1-02, Tiarnan Flanagan 1.01, Ciaran McFaul 0.03, Connor Carville 0.01 and Paul Gunning 0.03. We now play Lavey in the semi-final on Wednesday evening in Lavey. Throw in at 7.30pm. Please get along and show your support!
Watty Way to Dance: Rehearsals are well under way for the dancing extravaganza that will take place on Friday 4th December and Saturday 5th December. The dancing couples are as follows: Ryan McDonnell & Danielle McCrystal, Connlan Bradley & Caoimhe Glass, Sean McGroggan & Andrea McCloskey, Pearce & Una Kelly, Kevin McErlain & Maria McGrath, Brendan O'Kane & Laura McCloskey, Jamsie Gribbon & Imelda McMullan and Sean Keane & Peggy Convery.
