The club would like to thank everyone who supported the big  Bingo last Saturday night.Normal Bingo resumes this Saturday night commencing at 9pm with a Jackpot of £2,500 to be won in 42 numbers or less in the last house.The Bingo is a very important part of the clubs weekly activities.
Club lotto numbers on Saturday past (2nd August) were; 1,10,11 and 23. There was no Jackpot winner and the two lucky dip winners were Tilly Doherty and Ciara O'Loughlin.The Jackpot next week is £3,400.
Conal Gallen,Irelands top comedian is appearing at Michael Davitts hall on Saturday 22nd August,this promises to be a very entertaining night.Tickets £20,doors open at 8pm,disco afterwards by Apollo,entry by ticket only.Tickets are available from Mace Swatragh and Friels Bar Swatragh.
Congratulations to the u-12 hurlers who won the B Championship last Sunday in Owenbeg when they defeated Na Magha with a good performance in the final,well done to both management and players and a big thank you to all the parents who provide so much support every week.
The Club would like to congratulate Patrick Kearney,Francis Kearney and Niall McAtamney on a great win for Derry Minor County Footballers last Sturday when they defeated Longford in the All-Ireland Minor Quarter-Final,all eyes are now on an All-Ireland semi-final appearance in a few weeks in Croke Park.
The u-14 Footballers play Steelstown in the first round of the u-14 B Championship  at home tonight at 7.30pm,best wishes to both players and management,please check official fixtures for confirmation.
The Club would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who in anyway helped to ensure that the Michael Davitts NW100 charity cycle in association with Cancer Focus Northern Ireland was the success that it was ,cyclists,sponsors all the club workers and anyone else that contributed in any way who made sure that it was a brilliant event.There will be a full report in next weeks notes.

The U-16 Hurlers were very unlucky last Sunday against Ballinascreen when they were defeated 2-13 to 2-11 in a game with a number of very solid performances.
The minor footballers were defeated by Magherafelt at home last Monday night 1-12 to 1-7 in a competitive match.
The Minor hurling team were defeated by Kevin Lynch Hurling Club Dungiven at home last Wednesday night.
The Senior Hurling team had a good win in the Senior League against Dungannon, 7-16 to 1-14 as they continue their build up to the Senior Hurling Championship this weekend when they play Eoghan Rua, Cuil Raithin on Saturday 8th August with a 5pm start in Owenbeg, please check official fixtures for confirmation,best wishes to both management and players.
