Ulster GAA president Martin McAviney recently presented the Club Maith Platinum Award to Watty Graham's Chairman Sean Keane at an Ulster Council Awards night held in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh. Also pictured are the Glen Club Maith co-ordinator Conor Molloy and club Treasurer Eamon Convery. Glen are now one of an elite number of GAA clubs who have been awarded the Club Maith Platinum award, which the highest possible award for good club governance.

Lotto Numbers: 29, 30 & 31. There was no winner of £1000. Next week's lotto jackpot increases to £1500. Please support the lotto as it is the pivotal fundraiser for your club! Scór na nÓg Ulster Final: Congratulations to our young Ceili dancers who were crowned Scór na nÓg Ceili Dancing Ulster Champions in Monaghan on Saturday evening. The team consists of Jack Gunning, Jack McGilligan, Katie Strathern, Meabh McGirr, Ciarrai Convery, Caoimhe McLaughlin, Caitlin McNally and Claire Gunning and were under the tutelage of Culture Officer Louise Strathern, Laura McCloskey and Aideen Millar. Thanks to everyone who helped out with the preparation of the team. The All-Ireland Finals will be in the City West in Dublin on Saturday 14th February. Good luck in the final folks!

Ulster Writers Award: Congratulations to Danny Tallon on his selection as the December Winner of the Ulster GAA Writers Merit Award in recognition of his performances in the Ulster Minor Club Championship at St Paul's. Congratulations & well deserved!

Watty Ball Drop: Please return all tickets (both sold & unsold) along with monies to your ticket co-ordinator immediately or alternatively leave them in the Glen Centre on Monday 19th between 6.30pm - 7.30pm. The draw will take place on Saturday 31th January and will be announced at the dinner dance.

Annual Mass & Underage Presentation: The annual Club Mass and underage presentation will take place on Wednesday 11th February. Mass will be in St Mary's Church and the presentation will take place afterwards in the Glen Centre. Please wear club colours. Further details to follow.

Under 21's: We have been drawn against Scotstown from Co. Monaghan in the first round of the Under 21 Ulster Championship at Creggan. The game will be played on Sunday 25th January at 2pm. Please get along and show your support.

Pilates Course: There is a 6 week Pilates Course starting in the Glen Centre on Wednesday 14th January 7-8pm. To book a place please contact Briege Doogan on 07708961744.

Dinner Dance: Our Dinner Dance will be in the Glen Centre on Saturday 31st January 2015 at 8pm. With the great success achieved in 2014, it should be a great night so mark it in your dairy. Music by 'Big D Entertainments'. Admission £20. Book your tickets from Aine Bradley or Roisin Lagan.

Scór Sinsear: Scór Sinsear is fast approaching. Any member who is interested in taking part in any of the various disciplines, should contact Cultural Officer Louise Strathern on 07756400317.

Gear Shop: The new half zip green tops and gunmetal grey hoodies haven proven very popular. A new order will be placed in mid-January for anyone who didn't get an order placed before Christmas. Irish Language Classes: Irish Language classes have resumed in the Glen Centre every Friday evening at 7.30pm. Scaip an scéal - spread the word!

Last Man Standing: We will be running an online and mobile friendly 'Last Man Standing' competition and is based on seven group games of Division 1 & 2 of the 2015 Gaelic Football NFL. Fixtures may take place on Saturday or Sunday so make sure you check the fixtures each week.  Semi-finals and Finals are not included.  The competition website can be easily accessed via a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, etc. The prize for the 'Last Man Standing' is £500. The entry fee is £10 and this must be paid before 12 noon on Saturday 31st January.  (Anyone who has registered on the site but has not paid before this deadline will automatically be removed from the competition). Pay via debit or credit card using PayPal (click the 'donate' option) or pay £10 cash to a member of the organising committee: Conor Molloy, John McCamley, Conall McKee, Stephen Convery or Ben McGuckin.
