1993 Derry All-Ireland winner Enda Gormley has been appointed manager of Tyrone club Carrickmore for 2015.

The Irish News reports that Gormley is switching his allegiance from Division Two side Galbally to their neighbours who have lost the last two Tyrone championship finals.

Gormley's appointment brings to four the number of Derry men who will be managing in Tyrone senior football in the new year.

Damian Cassidy has guided Clonoe to two championship successes, Ronan McGuckin helped guide Eirrigal Ciaran to outright victory in 2012 while his Ballinderry clubman Martin McKinless will be in charge of Ardboe.
