Slaughtneil forward Christopher Bradley admits that there is a belief in the side that helps them over the line in close games.

Bradley kicked the winning point in last Sunday's Ulster club SFC win over Tyrone's Omagh as not for the first time this year, the Derry side edged a tight encounter.

The match-winner stressed to the County Derry Post that it was no fluke that the side have won so many close games this year.

"We just seem to do it that way, whatever's about us," said Bradley. "Once we got up in the last minute, Omagh had no chance to get back. To be fair to them, Omagh has been at that all year too,

"They talked about the last five minutes of games in the paper. We knew that if it came to the last five minutes that nobody was going to beat us, to be honest. We'd that installed in our heads."
