There is no rest for Gerald Bradley and the rest of Slaughtneil's dual stars.

A week after Bradley's late, controversial goal secured an historic Derry SHC and SFC double for Slaughtneil at the expense of four-in-a-row chasing Ballinderry, the Robert Emmets will travel to Loughgiel this afternoon to face Cushendall in their Ulster SHC semi-final replay.

A fortnight ago in Owenbeg, Bradley produced an outstanding display at midfield as Slaughtneil came within a whisker of shocking the Antrim champions and he's hoping to complete the job today.

"We are ready for Cushendall," he told the Belfast Telegraph.

"Maybe we are not getting much chance to catch our breath these days but it's great to be in there battling for another trophy."

Six players who were involved in last Sunday's Derry SFC final will be in action for Slaughtneil again this afternoon.
