A dilemma for supporters of Eoghan Rua in Coleraine has been avoided after an agreement was reached to play the club's Ulster hurling and camogie ties against Antrim opposition as a double-header at Owenbeg on Sunday week.

There were fears that the two games would be played at different venues on October 26, but Ulster GAA and camogie chiefs have come to an arrangement to put them on the same billing at Derry GAA's Centre of Excellence.

Eoghan Rua's camogs will face Loughgiel Shamrocks in the Ulster senior camogie championship at 12.45pm, followed by their hurlers' Ulster intermediate championship final against O'Donovan Rossa at 2.30pm.

The double-header will be warmly welcomed by the McGoldrick family who have five brothers and two sisters involved with the respective Eoghan Rua hurling and camogie teams. The hurlers qualified for the provincial final thanks to a 2-10 to 0-13 victory over Eire Og of Tyrone last weekend.
