Ulster Club winning Ballinderry manager Martin McKinless was last night appointed manager of Tyrone outfit Ardboe.

McKinless stepped down from the Derry and Ulster champions following last February's All-Ireland Club SFC semi-final defeat by eventual winners St Vincent's.

He has now taken on the challenge of guiding Ardboe to their first Tyrone SFC success since 1998.
