Manager Sean McGoldrick insists that Coleraine are capable of playing attacking football.
Following the 1-15 to 0-11 Derry SFC quarter-final victory over Magherafelt, McGoldrick told The Derry Post:
"We do get criticised for playing ultra-defensive but sometimes you play defensively because you are forced to by the opposition.
"We can play attacking football, too, it we're allowed to but you just have to take each opposition as you find them.
"You get criticised for playing defensively but a lot of that depends on the conditions - the conditions so far in the championship have been very poor - and the quality of the opposition.
"If they put you on the back foot, then you have to play off the back foot."
