The Derry SFC tie between Lavey and Magherafelt - which was abandoned last Wednesday following the collapse of former Derry captain Kevin McCloy - has been rescheduled for Owenbeg tomorrow evening at 7.30pm.

It was initially rearranged for tonight, but has been pushed back 24 hours following the death of a Magherafelt executive committee member. In a statement released yesterday, McCloy and his wife Cathy thanked those who had supported and helped him after his near-death experience.

"Kevin's condition is improving thanks to the excellent care he is receiving at Altnagelvin Hospital," the statement read.

In last night's Derry SFC action, meanwhile, late points from current Oak Leaf captain Mark Lynch and Padhraic Murphy handed Banagher a 1-12 to 1-10 extra-time victory over Ballinascreen.
