St Malachy's GAC Castledawson notes

The Club's Golf Day at Moyola Castledawson on Friday August 15th was another highlight in our 75th Anniversary celebrations. We were blessed by very good weather, the course was in great condition and all 46 teams had a great day's golf. The Club thanks our main sponsor F P McCann, all our other sponsors, supporters, players, officials, organisers and those who helped in making the day such a success. Winning teams were 1st Joe Craig, 2nd Oisin O'Doherty, 3rd James McOscar and 4th J P Corry.

The U14 footballers beat Drumsurn 2-10 to 2-07 in the 'C' Championship Semi-final and will play their Final at Owenbeg against Slaughtmanus on Tuesday September 2nd. Tir na nOg U16s will play Banagher at Ballymaguigan in the Championship on Thursday at 7.15pm. Tir na nOg Minor Championship Semi-final against Claudy wasn't played as scheduled on Monday evening due to the lack of a referee. The game will be rearranged. The Under 6 Gaelic Start Programme has moved from Friday to Sunday morning at 11.30am.
St. Malachy's senior camogs were defeated in the championship at Ballinascreen by Slaughtneil on a final scorel line of 3-12 to 2-02.
Lotto numbers August 18th were 11, 13, 14, and 20. £25 Winners were Chris McNicholl and Jarleth McLaughlin. Next Week's Jackpot is £2,700.
