Senior Football: After the comprehensive win over Greenlough last Sunday, our seniors travelled to Slaughtmanus for another must win league fixture on Thursday evening. Slaughtmanus got on the scoreboard first with a point in the opening minute. Glen steadied themselves and Ciaran McFaul replied with a fine score from a free kick after five minutes. There was a further ten minutes until the next score, when a Mark O'Donnell shot on goal was well saved however his full forward colleague Ryan Winton was on hand to palm the rebound to the net. Slaughtmanus responded well with two immediate points however Ciaran McFaul pointed again, this one being a fisted effort. The remaining nine minutes of the half were point for point with Michael Warnock, Emmet Bradley and Ciaran McFaul being the Glen scorers. Half time score Glen 1-05 Slaughtmanus 0-05. After the interval Glen were much more dominant with points coming from Ryan Winton, Mark O'Donnell and Ciaran McFaul. The home team kicked a few points however the result was put beyond doubt with goals coming from Ryan Winton, Stevie O'Hara and Oisin Hegarty. Final score Glen 4-10 Slaughtmanus 0-09. Glen Scorers Ciaran McFaul 0-05, Ryan Winton 2-01, Emmet Bradley 0-01, Michael Warnock 0-01, Mark O'Donnell 0-02, Stevie O'Hara 1-00 and Oisin Hegarty.

Camogie: The senior camogs travelled to Greenlough on Thursday evening for their league game. They were forced to field minus numerous regulars due to holidays but this didn't affect their league title hopes. The girls put in a good first half performance and we're up by 5 at half time on a scoreline of Glen 2-6 Greenlough 1-4, the goals coming from Fiona Glasgow and Niamh Gallagher. They continued to dominate play in the second half and ran out convincing winners on a scoreline of Glen 4-14 Greenlough 2-6. The goals scored by Cathy Cassidy and Fiona Glasgow. This was a great result for the team as they

continued their unbeaten run in the league. Team: Danielle McCrystal, Amy Glasgow, Rebecca Ferguson, Carla Bradley, Roisin McCabe, Aileen McKenna, Hannah Ferguson, Caoimhe Glass, Catherine McKenna, Edel Talbot, Cathy Cassidy, Laura Coyle, Fiona Glasgow, Niamh Gallagher and Rachel Glasgow, subs Orla Lee for Laura Coyle and Niamh McKenna for Rachael Glasgow.
