We do indeed,
Cork are wounded and will be dangerous.
Let's take nothing for granted. Win this and promotion is definitely on.

Hopefully a win is on the cards! I fancied Meath to win today! Why is it were a different animal away from Navan!!

Credit where credit is due today for Andy he picked the right side !! We were excellent all round the pitch !! I thought we were done for after going 3 points down !! What a player Donal Lenihan is becoming !! He's a true warrior as well ,you can tell how much he wants to win!! Now at the same time let's not get ahead of ourselves !! Its only a win at home to Galway! Albeit a goof one ! We have to go to Cork and put in a good performance !!

Changed my mind on this Side

I would Drop McMahon and O'Coilean ! Not convinced on who to pick at 13 and 14 ! I know I stood up for Brian Sheridan but don't think he played well enough to start !

What about giving kennely and one of Ross or ward a try? I know it's a very important game but kennelly to wander out leaving either Ross or ward with lenehane , just a suggestion.

Think Kennelly is injured and don't know when he'll be back, really think he has potential but needs to be given a game when he's back to full fitness. I would prefer Ross over Ward but not sure either is good enough at this level but the only way to find out is to play them. Hopefully James McEntee is ready to come back into the side for this game, he would further strengthen the half back line.

What's happened to Ward! He was standing beside me in the Terrace today as well ?

Personally I'm not convinced by any of the three and it's too big a game to be taking risks like that I think.

McMahon had a bad game but we all know what he's capable of he's shown his ability many time in the past so I'd give him another go, you're your own worst enemy after a bad performance I'm sure he's no different. As we seen with lenihan today perseverance in a player can reap rewards.

Thought he had a knock but nothing serious. Might be wrong anyone know more?

There were times today in the first half (with the wind) that the long ball to #14 wasn't an option as Biggy was too far out the field. I would have thought that Sean Tobin would have been a better option inside with Lenihan (rather than McMahon) for his added physicality, breaking tackles when he gets the ball to hand and heading towards their goals. Where McMahon could have been used as an impact sub (corner forward) for his pace later on.

Of course when picking a starting team you do not know whether you'll be playing with/against the elements this time of year. But they had to work hard for their scores in the first half, really run at Galway and be patient at times. They weren't direct enough for Andy at times with the backwards passing. So since Paddy Kennelly didn't work out at #14 when tried earlier (but good when playing deeper, why not try him at midfield) and Brian Sheridan has had his change, another target man like Fiachra Ward at #14 is worth trying with Graham Reilly reverting to the half-forward line.

Right so seen a good Suggestion for the other thread how about this team!

1.O'Rourke
2.Keoghan
3.McGill
4.Tobin
5.Menton
6.Harnan
7.Forde
8.Flanagan
9.Toher
10.Eamon Wallace
11.O'Sullivan
12.Reilly
13.McMahon - was poor today but lack of options
14.Newman if fit - If not Sheridan ,Tobin ,or play O,Coilean at 10 and move Biggy here !!
15.Lenihan

This is our best team!

I'm not sure about e Wallace. Again today let temper better him and was very silly to do what he did, it wasn't even something like taking a black card for the team at a crucial moment. It was just petulant. No doubt he has got great ability

I'm not convinced of him either !!Just lack of options.. We have 4 guaranteed starting forwards If all fit

10.
11.O'Sullivan
12.Biggy
13.
14.Newman
15.Lenihan

I guess you could move Forde out of half back line to play at 10 .Suppose McMahon deserves another chance at 13

I think McMahon deserves another shot at 13.

Are any of the under 21s worth a punt?
