One game ban for Caffrey

Dublin manager Paul Caffrey
Dublin boss Paul Caffrey will have to watch his county's next championship game from the stands after he was handed down a one match ban for shouldering Mayo's John Morrison prior to the sides' All-Ireland semi-final clash. The Dublin boss clashed with Morrison as Mayo warmed up at the Hill 16 end of Croke Park prior to the teams' semi-final meeting last month. The match monitor spotted the incident and Caffrey was handed a one match championship ban which he will serve for the Dubs first round defence of their Leinster title in 2007. Morrison was also called before the Central Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday night and was warned about his future conduct as he left the official dugout before the semi-final game was ended. The Dublin County Board were also fined €1,100 for a number of misdemeanours which included taking to the field two minutes late at the star of the game, too many water carriers and the team not standing still while the national anthem was played.
