HL3A: Donegal sink 14-man Ernesiders

February 17, 2014
Donegal 2-19
Fermanagh 1-13

Goals from Lee Henderson and Enda McDermott boosted Donegal to a nine point win over visitors Fermanagh at Ballyshannon.

The Ernesiders' cause wasn't helped by the 24th minute dismissal of midfielder Daniel Teague but there is no disputing that the better team won.

Henderson's 21st minute strike parachuted Ray Durack's charges into a 1-6 to 0-0 lead. The right corner-forward finished with 1-7 (4fs, 2 65s) to his name.

Fermanagh replied with a goal of their own through Sean Corrigan at the start of the second half but that proved to be as good as it got for them.
