This weekend sees the Clare senior football championship semi-finals take place.

On Saturday afternoon, St Joseph's Milltown take on St Breckan's at Cusack Park, Ennis. The Milltown outfit are slight favourites to advance to the final, but St Breckan's will be happy to go into the game as underdogs.

St Joseph's have looked impressive throughout the campaign, while their opponents had to come through the back door.

There are certainly two different styles meeting in this clash and it will be a tough one to call, but St Joseph's should just shade it.

The second semi-final takes place on Sunday afternoon and sees Clondegad take on Cooraclare. The former go into the match as favourites and they should have enough firepower to edge past their opponents.
