This weekend sees the quarterfinals of the Clare senior hurling championship take place.

There are four very interesting clashes on this weekend throw in other club championship games in the county as well as the All-Ireland SHC final on Sunday and hurling fans in Clare are in for a real treat this weekend.

The meeting of Sixmilebridge and Cratloe is possibly the pick of the bunch as the last two champions meet in the championship, but the former get the nod to go through.

Clonlara are fancied to see off the challenge of Newmarket in their last eight match, while Ballyea are also tipped in their clash with Kilmaley.

In the last quarterfinal, Crusheen's experience is expected to prove too strong for Clooney-Quin, but all games are set to exciting affairs.
