Tough work for Maor Camán Tommy Hegarty

Following last week's Charity Crossbar Challenge, which has been viewed 60,000 times online since it was posted online last week, the Clare hurlers undertook a four-day training camp at Corrib Village in Galway between Thursday and Sunday.

Following his success during last week's Charity Crossbar Challenge, Maor Camán Tommy Hegarty was challenged to cycle around the training pitches at Dangan NUI Grounds in Galway.

If the Clarecastle man completed the circuit in under two minutes the players benefit from one less training session. If he failed, the hurlers would be forced into another 40 minutes of training. Sadly for the players, the outcome wasn't what they would have hoped for.

It wasn't all work for the group however, who were treated to a night at Galway Greyhound Stadium on Saturday.

The squad are busily preparing for their Qualifier tie with Offaly in Cusack Park on Saturday, July 4th at 7pm.
