The Munster GAA Council's grant package will see Clare benefit to the tune of €500,000.

In total, there is €2.5 million being made available to the counties in the provinces, over the course of a five-year project.

"The €2.5 million package for Kerry, Tipperary, Clare, Waterford and Limerick will see €500,000 made available to each county to be used on projects such as works on major county grounds and centres of excellence," Munster chairman Robert Frost told the Clare Champion.

"We have set out a clear five-year budgetary framework that will see no further investment in major capital projects for the next five years. Once this five-year cycle is up, the council will reassess the financial situation and implement another five-year budget, based on the considered infrastructural requirements in the province."
