Clare under-21 footballers begin their Hastings Cup campaign with a clash against Laois at Milltown on Saturday afternoon.

Last weekend, Clare were due to play Leitrim, but the Munster side opted to play in the Provincial Under-20 competition instead. However, that tournament was not sanctioned by Croke Park and will not go ahead.

So, Clare have been reinstated to the Hastings Cup where they will play Laois, Offaly and Leitrim in the coming weeks.

This weekend, the under-21s are missing their senior panellists as they are away on a training camp for a few days.
