Cratloe manager Joe McGrath believes each game in the Munster club SHC is a new challenge.

Having defeated Waterford champions Ballygunner in the quarter-final, the Clare kingpins now face Thurles Sarsfields in the provincial semi-final on Sunday afternoon.

Cusack Park, Ennis will host this intriguing clash which give Cratloe a slight advantage, but the Tipperary native believes that his charges need to be at their best to see off an experienced Thurles side.

"When you get to the Munster semi-final, the challenge goes up and our boys are looking forward to that challenge," McGrath told the Clare Champion.

"Between matches, we do very little, just have a few pucks on Wednesday nights. The lads are, certainly match fit and there is no issue with regard to burn out. The footballers played last Sunday and, thankfully avoided injury.

"We are really looking forward to the challenge this weekend. It's a new level and Thurles are a good team and we will see what will happen. If we improve from the game in Waterford, we will be in with a shout."
