Clare's All-Ireland winning hurling coach Paul Kinnerk will be involved in Limerick's underage football set-up next year.
The Limerick Leader is reporting this morning that the Monaleen native has been installed as the Treaty County's new football coaching coordinator - a role that will see him oversee the county's reformed football academy. The appointment puts an end to speculation linking him with a role in Limerick hurling manager TJ Ryan's backroom team.
Kinnerk announced last month that he was taking a 12-month break from his Clare coaching/trainer role. A teacher in St. Caimin's in Shannon, the 34-year-old lives in Cratloe and continues to line out with the Monaleen footballers.
