The Clare senior hurlers will have joint-captains in 2015.
Outgoing captain Pat Donnellan, who lifted the Liam MacCarthy Cup last year, will now share the role with Crusheen's Cian Dillon. The vice-captaincy will also be shared between Cratloe's Conor McGrath and Pat O'Connor of Tubber.
Manager Davy Fitzgerald operated a similar policy during his time in charge of Waterford in a bid to distribute the responsibility of the roles as widely as possible.
The Banner will hold their first official team meeting since July's shock All-Ireland exit at the hands of Wexford tomorrow night, with a number of changes to the squad expected. The 2013 All-Ireland champions are free to resume training after December 1.
