Clare and Wexford dominate U21 Hurling Team of the Year

Clare and Wexford contribute 12 players to the 2014 Bord Gáis Energy U21 Hurling Team of the Year which was announced today.

Seven members of the Clare championship winning team were selected, while five Wexford men make the cut.

Two Tipperary men and Galway's Padraig Brehony make up the final fifteen.

The prestigious Player of the Year and Score of the Year awards will be presented at the Bord Gáis Energy Team of the Year Awards ceremony which will be televised live on TG4 at 8.30pm this Saturday, October 11th.

The hour long broadcast will look back over the 2014 Bord Gáis Energy U21 Hurling Championship with contributions from the award winners, managers and the Team of the Year judging panel.
