Limerick's veteran football midfielder John Galvin has switched his club allegiances from his native Croom to Clare champions Cratloe.
A resident of Cratloe for the past two years, Galvin is in line to make his debut for his adopted club in Saturday's quarter-final clash against O'Curry's.
Manager Colm Collins has rolled out the red carpet for his new recruit.
"To have John in with us is a fantastic lift for everyone involved," Collins said to the Examiner.
"He is a massive addition to our squad. He has been one of the game's top midfielders for the past decade.
"He brings so much experience and skill to the table. He's been in with us for the last couple of weeks and is getting on well with all the lads."
