It's a huge weekend in the Clare SHC with all four quarter-finals taking place.

Cusack Park hosts a triple-header tomorrow which gets underway at 3.30pm with the meeting of Cratloe and Eire Og. Both teams are unbeaten thus far, with Cratloe having beaten Crusheen, Kilmaley and holders Sixmilebridge in what was dubbed the 'Group of Death', while Eire Og topped their senior 'B' group with wins over Whitegate, Wolfe Tones and Ruan.

At 5pm, Clonlara and O'Callaghan's Mills meet at the quarter-final stage for the third year in-a-row. Clonlara have won the previous two clashes - needing extra-time to prevail last year - and are favoured to win out again.

The last of the triple-header at 6.30pm pits 2011 champions Crusheen against 2012 champions Newmarket. Crusheen beat Sixmilebridge and Kilmaley before losing to Cratloe in their final group outing. Newmarket won all three of their group matches against Tulla, Tubber and Clarecastle.

There will also be a lot of interest in their last of the quarter-finals at Cusack Park on Sunday at 1pm between parish rivals Ballyea and Clarecastle, with Ballyea slight favourites to earn the local bragging rights.
