Clare's bid for a three-in-a-row of All-Ireland U21HC titles has been boosted by the news that Shane O'Donnell is set to line out in Saturday's semi-final against Antrim.

Last year's All-Ireland senior final replay hat-trick hero was expected to miss the game after breaking a bone in his hand during the Banner's Munster final rout of Cork, but he took part in a practice match on Tuesday night and is set to feature against the Saffrons.

O'Donnell's return to fitness means that Conor Cleary is the only player unavailable for selection due to injury, with Alan O'Neill of St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield expected to replace the Kilmaley clubman.
