Cork captain Ashling Thompson is expecting Sunday's All-Ireland senior camogie final against Kilkenny to play out as a fascinating encounter.

The Rebelettes are bidding for a third title in-a-row at Croke Park against their Leinster counterparts and Thompson feels that spectators will be treated to a thriller at HQ.

"I feel it will be one of the best games of the year," she told RTE Sport.

"Kilkenny will be a big threat. They are very strong up front, their forward line works very well together.

"It's going to be a big challenge but I have complete trust in our back line. There will be great match ups all over the field, ensuring that it will be something exciting for spectators and those watching at home."

Throw-in at Croke Park on Sunday is at 4pm.
